La lluvia canceló clasificación de la Cup y Xfinity Series en Las Vegas

La lluvia que cayó el sábado sobre Las Vegas Motor Speedway, obligó a cancelar las sesiones clasificatorias de la Cup y la Xfinity Series.

La sesion de la NASCAR Cup Series estaba programada para las 2:35 PM, Este, y tras ser cancelada, dejó a Kyle Busch en la Pole Position para la Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube (domingo, 3:30 PM, Este por FOX y FOX Deportes), de acuerdo al reglamento de competencia.

Sin embargo, los castigos impuestos a Busch, Denny Hamlin y Christopher Bell, alteraron el orden de salida.

Los castigos incluyen la deducción de 10 puntos para el piloto y el dueño del equipo. Además, los 3 autos deberán empezar desde el fondo de la parrilla de salida de la Pennzoil 400.

Busch había quedado en la Pole Position en base al reglamento, tras la cancelación de la sesión clasificatoria por lluvia. Oficialmente, será reconocido con la Pole Position, pero deberá arrancar último en el pelotón de 38 autos. Hamlin iba a empezar 4to. y Bell 22do.
