Las obras caritativas de Dale Earnhardt Jr. en el Nationwide Children’s Hospital continuarán aún después de su retiro como piloto a tiempo completo en la Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, luego de que justo a su esposa anunciaron la creación del Dale and Amy Earnhardt Fund.

Los Earnhardt han sido visitantes frecuentes en el Nationwide Children’s Hospital durante los últimos tres años, con cinco visitas a Columbus, Ohio, donde tiene su sede la aseguradora Nationwide, uno de sus principales patrocinadores.
La visita más reciente fue en julio previo al triplete de la NASCAR en el Kentucky Speedway.
El hospital bautizó entonces una de las áreas de trabajo como “Dale and Amy Earnhardt Activity Room” la temporada pasada.
